Save your art supplies for next year!

Another great NAF event to close out our year!

We had such a blast at the Art Supply Free-For-All held this weekend at Niskayuna Senior Center.

Thank you to the community for donating an amazing haul of art supplies and to everyone who came out to support the event.

The turnout was fantastic! A great crowd showed up to replenish their art supplies, score some NAF merch, and/or make a donation.

We chose to establish NAF’s version of a “swap meet” for art supplies, because we hoped it would foster community building, promote sustainable material sharing and encourage creativity. Trade events like these can help —

• spark imagination by motivating folks to consider trying a new technique or creative challenge

• encourage keeping creative workspaces organized and reduces waste by increasing recycling

• provide access to premium secondhand materials for artists and hobbyists of all financial backgrounds who might not be able to get them otherwise

Don’t forget to set aside any unused art supplies for next year’s 3rd Annual Nisk Art Friends Art Supply Free-For-All!
