Roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of printmaking! This one-week summer enrichment course is for high schoolers who want to bridge the gap between drawing and graphic design. Printmaking is a unique blend of fine motor skill and creative experimentation. It’s messy and rewarding.
In this studio-style intensive, students will learn to think in layers, textures, and multiples, exploring several methods of transferring their vision from a plate to paper (and fabric!). We will cover drypoint intaglio, kitchen lithography, relief block printing, and gelli plate monotypes. All materials are included.
