Gratitude for our art teachers

On behalf of all the parents of art students across the Niskayuna Central School District — and with the help of Arlene’s, Bear & Bird, and Mohawk Art Shoppe — Nisk Art Friends would like to express our gratitude to the more than one dozen amazing art teachers, who teach our student artists all year long! For you, we offer this poem:

With brushes dipped in hues so bright,
You paint our children’s world with light,
From simple shapes to visions grand,
You guide little, and big, eager hands.

You teach them how to see with heart,
To find their own creative start,
To mix the colors, bold and new,
And let their inner selves shine through.

Thank you for making art so fun,
You build their confidence from day one,
We are filled with gratitude for all you do,
May this year be peppered with only coos and woos!
