August 3–7
11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Iroquois Middle School Room 136
Capacity: 15 artists
Get ready to get your hands dirty and explore the world of clay! This one-week class is designed for middle schoolers (incoming grades 6–8) to transform raw earth into lasting works of art. From functional mugs to abstract sculptures, students will balance technical skill-building with creative freedom as they master pinch, coil, and slab construction, as well as glazing techniques.
All supplies are provided, so just bring your imagination!
Please note that because clay requires time to dry and undergo kiln firing, finished work will be ready for pickup one week after the final class session.
